Ugh...Location Company steals another deal

By
Real Estate Agent with Silvercreek Realty Group

As I was working on Friday I got a call from a prospect that had found my info on my website.  They were looking at moving to my area and wanted to get their financing in line.  So I got all their information and got them prequaled on what exactly they could afford.  After this I asked if they were working with an agent. NOPE Awesome! So I got them all in line with working with one of my top notch agents.  Over the weekend they were able to get some listings sent to them that fit their criteria.

Then Monday hits... no return calls but get an email "My husbands company referred us to a lender and agent."  Ugh are you serious...these guys get to sit back and wait for a paycheck...

So my question what happens if the buyers had signed a buyers rep?

Hi Corey,

I am working with a relocation company right now and the sellers requested me. I still had to compete with another agent ( one from their company ) on the listing. I got the listing because they wanted me. However the referral fee is very high. I know with this relocation company the seller/ buyer still had the last word on who they chose.  Liz

Gets the job done!

That is a pain in the neck.  We have enough problems in Boise without dealing with these problems.
