It looks like Gov. Christie has shot down the proposed tax credit saying NJ can not afford it. I guess that the fact that the State can't afford something is a new idea that we will be getting used to . It certainly makes sense to not spend what we do not have , we all teach our children that , and to save for a rainy day. For some reason the numbers play out a bit different when it comes to the government. Sometimes spending upfront can create less spending on the backside and actually make sense. I do not have all the figures to analyze it correctly, although I sure hope our Governor has!
