Here's a quick update on what's been going on at the Amlin Advantage and with our families. When you can, drop us a line about how you're doing too!
First off...the Amlin Advantage...we are so excited to report that business continues to get stronger based on a report from the Dayton Area Board of Realtors (posted on our blog at www.AmlinAdvantage.com). Homes are selling! YEAH! And interest rates continue to be low and competitive! Double WOW! Let us know if you would like an updated market report on your home or a referral to a lender to discuss refinancing.
We also recently held a booth at the Tipp City Business Expo in May. We had so much fun networking with local business and talking to area residents. What a great event put on by the Tipp City Chamber of Commerce. We have included a graph that shows our dedication to selling homes in the area. Our team is committed to do what we can to sell the homes we list. We were excited to see that this reflected in the statistics on home sales in the last year.
We're active in social media..."friend" us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and link with us on LinkedIn. We send out updates on deals, market conditions, local events and MORE! And we would love to link up with YOU! Check out our BLOG at www.AmlinAdvantage.com.
An update from Sue Amlin...As of this week, Sue is the proud owner of a Yorkshire Terrier puppy named Lucie. Sue and Doug have been without a dog the last 18 months after the loss of their Boxer dog Mikey. Sue and Doug have enjoyed spending time with the family and doing some light traveling. And as business picked up...so did Sue's hours. Those of you that thought retirement was in the future...think again! Sue is enjoying her love of working with the housing market as well as being a Nana to Gabe and Savy...and now puppy Lucie. "GiGi," Sue's mother Margie who lives with Sue, is doing well and family from Georgia recently came for a visit.
As for Carli Amlin Dean...Carli continues to be "SuperMom" juggling being a full time realtor and making it to every one of her kids and husbands events. And we are happy to report...so far she is succeeding! This year her kids Gabe and Savy have played UpWard basketball and Tipp baseball. Gabe's A-Ball team just brought home the trophy and Savy just finished her 2nd year with Patrice Link School of Dance. Her husband Brian was awarded the 35 and older Midwest Men's Tennis Player of Year award from the USTA for the 2nd year in a row.
Carli continues to volunteer as President of the Board of Trustees for the Tipp Monroe Community Services and she is a co-founder of the coupon ministry ClipShopShare through Ginghamsburg Church and NewPath. You can follow these organizations on Facebook. "Friend" them today!
And finally Brian Amlin...Well besides doing an excellent job working with all of his real estate clients, Brian has been busy with volunteering on the Board of Trustees for the United Way and also coordinating the catering for the Annual Top Scholar's Banquet for Tippecanoe High School. But the most recent update is his return from Swaziland, Africa with his church Christian Life Center (CLC). Brian went away on a mission trip to help build a church in a small village there.
Not only did Brian help with the building, he also handled all of the cooking for the mission team. Not a surprise to us since he is a graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary Arts College and is a certified Chef!
**Don't forget that we have a Local Events page on our website. If you have something you would like listed, email us the information!
Sincerely, Sue, Carli & Brian
