The County of Los Angeles is offering it's residents a free and convenient means to dispose of household hazardous and electronic waste (HHW/E-Waste). The following mobile events can be found at:

Saturday 7/31/10

Location: Glendora - Citrus College (Stadium Parking Lot)

                              Barranca Avenue just North of Alosta Ave. (Rt. 66)

                              Glendora, CA 91741

Saturday 8/7/10

Location: San Dimas - San Dimas High School

                                800 West Covina Blvd.

                                San Dimas, CA 91773

 

DID YOU KNOW that it is illegal to transport more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds of household hazardous waste per trip?  HHW/E-Waste from businesses will not be accepted. Automotive products, Gasoline & diesel fuel, Medicine (Controlled substances not allowed), Paints (oil or water based), Solvents, Stains & varnishes, Thinners, & turpentines, Propane tanks (small), Pet products (flea collars & sprays), Poisons (rat, mouse, snail, & slug), Transmission & brake fluid, Used motor oil & oil filters, and Weed killers.
