The Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival will be held August 5th-8th at Martin Park in East Hartford, CT.  This year is the 15th annual Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival, which features local, regional and national bluegrass, bringing together the finest in bluegrass music each year.  You could ask, how good could a bluegrass festival in the city be, but the reviews show this is a great show, top shelf.

What is there to do at the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival?  Music and lots of it, and lots more.  The outstanding music line up starts on Thursday and runs nearly non-stop until Sunday.  Award-winning acts from around the country and half way around the word.  Here is a link to the whole Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival scheduleand line up.  A bank competition, songwriters competition and this year Banjo Spectacular will be nothing you've seen before.  Kid's are certainly welcome and the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival, check out the family stage and workshops for kid and family friendly shows.

Need directions to the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival?  Set your GPS to 307 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, CT. and follow the signs once you see them for parking.  You can also get directions if you do not have GPS on the website.  RV space is limited and on a first come first serve basis, advance tickets are advised.

I love these festivals! I'm in between bands at the moment which allows me to enjoy the music of others. My previous band is keeping busy though.
