You know when something wonderful happens.......it brings out a BURST of emotions.........and they shoot out different ways for different people....I have seen people "choked" up, heads bowed, dropped to their knees, grinning like a Cheshire cat, stare at the sky, raise their fists in a salute, close their eyes, crouch and walk, run around in circles and ......the best...THE VICTORY DANCE.....
Now the VICTORY DANCE can be done in private or public........or both......
In Private:....clothed or not, spontaneous custom expressions using all parts of the body and face with reoccurring "BURSTS" of behavior that can come and go until you decide that is enough.....whenever that is....
In Public: all of the displays described above, but with some reservations and usually a brief BURST or EXPLOSION not unlike other similar feelings.....(let the reader imagine).
There are many types of VICTORY DANCES worth mentioning....Here are just a few......
1. The FEATURE dance...is when you get acknowledged by ActiveRain for a post. Most satisfying and fulfilling.
2. The COE dance or close of escrow...is when you close your deal and commissions checks are issued.....
3. The PROBLEM IS SOLVED dance...is when you had a major issue and it has been resolved
4. The LISTING dance...is when you get a and sign up a new listing........
5. The REFERRAL FEE HAS ARRIVED...is when your check comes in for referring a client to someone else and you forgot about it.....
6. The DOUBLE ENDED dance..is when you list and sell the property and maximize your position....
7. The GOOD FORTUNE dance is where out of the blue....you get a call for business you were not expecting...
8. The MISTAKE IN YOUR FAVOR dance is when a deal closed or is about to close and it is discovered that you have more money coming that you thought...
9. The YOU GOT WHAT YOU HAD COMING DANCE...is when people put up with other people's nonsense without paying them back, suffering patiently..... and then the person that was BUGGING you gets their comeuppance......
10. The AWARD dance is when you are acknowledged by your peers when you were not expecting it........
11. The ALL CASH, NO CONTINGENCIES, QUICK CLOSE dance is when you get a full offer your way....
