Home sales rose 6% in June 2010 compared to June 2009. Palm Springs had 192 sales, Palm Desert 169 sales, and La Quinta 148 sales. The median price was $207,000 up 1% from a year ago.
There were 7 sales in the $1.2 - $4.7 million dollar range. One sold in may for $7.8 million and one sold in June for $4.7 million.
There was an amazing 38% increase in condo sales from June 2009 to June 2010. There were 274 condos sold in the Palm Springs are in June. The median price was $192,500 - a 19% drop form June 2009.
We are grateful this market is growing and improving in all price points. The low interest rates and low prices are attracting buyers in all price points and all areas of the Coachella Valley.
