Warner Robins GA will host the Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA) Masters Bowling on Aug 21-22 at both Gold Cup Bowling and Robins Lanes (at the Air Force Base). SOGA is expecting almost 900 athletes from all over the state to compete.
The opening ceremony is 20 Aug from 7:30p.m. to 9p.m. at the Galleria Mall. The games are free and open to the public and awards will be given out throughout the weekend.

"SOGA provides year-round training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for nearly 23,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendships with their families, other Special Olympic athletes, and the community."
