Many agents want leads from clients that are ready to buy or sell right now. Are you remembering to incubate the cool leads that will be ready in 6 months, a year or two? I get many calls from residents in our community to schedule a time to view the house and give them some ideas for projects that will give them the most value when they are ready to sell down the road. I don't mind doing this at all!
It's important to ask advice from a professional so you spend time, effort and money on the right updates. There are certainly projects like removing wallpaper and painting, updating light fixtures, faucets, adding hardware to cabinets that will give you the best bang for your buck!
I ask them to call me when they are completed with their projects so I can come back and see the results! When they are ready to make a move guess who they call?
