Windsor Park Subdivison Charlotte, NC. 28205

Windsor park is a nice quiet community with well built brick ranch homes during the 1960's.  Conveniently located off North Sharon Amity Road in Charlotte North Carolina.  AS you drive through this well established neighborhood you quickly notice that the residents still take pride in their homes and care of their yards.

  Windsor Park Elementary School is located in the heart of the subdivsion.  This makes it extremely convient for families sending their children to school.

  A few things I noticed recently driving through the subdivision were the friendliness of the neighbors.  People were outside on a sunny Saturday afternoon working on their yard, washing their cars, power walking through the neighborhood or just chatting with each other.  Kids were out riding bikes and playing out in the streets.

  I came across a website that helped me understand the area a little more.  Apparently the residents take pride in their neighborhood.  Even though, there is no formal Home Owners Association;  there is an informal one.  A group of residents started it back in 1999.  Their mission was simple.  Make the neighborhood safe and better for the community.....Well ten plus years later they have grown to over 300 families and are going strong.

  Take a drive through Windosr Park and you will notice the difference a small few started that now many are part of....
