The Newnan Georgia real estate market is picking up steam and gaining momentum.

Richard, thanks for sharing your good economic news, a bump anywhere on the East Coast sends positive signals further up the pond...I'm hoping for a ripple effect further North (P.S. throw bigger rocks in the pond)

Richard....inventory is down in our area too....we continually cancel town tour because of lack of inventory.....the market is again changing....

Sounds like good news for Coweta County. Low prices and excellent amenities are a win-win situation!

Richard I guess all that exess inventroy came down here, I just did some absorption rate investigating and some areas here have over two years of inventory...I am with Steve throw bigger rocks

Great news for your area Richard...inventory is staying pretty constant in my ocean unfortunately even with low rates not a great summer so far...like the locomotive them!

I watch the local inventory in Seattle everyday and see that there are more listings going pending than coming on the market. Some of the "new" listings are relists. To be fair, some of the pendings will fall out. All in all, our market is good. All I need is more good listings.

That's great news...these days, well priced homes should be in great demand.

I knew you're market had to be feeling some correction when your blogs were about how you had no free time because you were so busy.  Great news!

I guess the combination of lower prices and good interest rates are bringing out the buyers.  I am seeing a good absorption rate in my area as well.

Richard,  I am glad it's picking up on your side of town.  I haven't looked lately, but it does seem that inventory is down somewhat.  I hope it's a sign of things to come. 

BTW, I love Newnan, it's a very charming area.  SELL SELL SELL!

Richard - let's go surfing and ride the wave. I can't explain it but was told to never complain about a good thing. Charlotte has a similar bump going on. Perhaps it'e the rates or the time of year. I liken it to rolling hay into the barn and preparing for winter. Let the (semi) good times roll

I hope you're over there near John Mulkey so that your market can affect his market. He seems to have nothing but doom and gloom still.

Get ready, Richard...when the tide turns I have a feeling that there will be a severe shortage in some areas!

Richard....good news for you & your area...hopefully not too many from Michigan are moving your way as that will leave us with fewer Buyer clients.  LOL
Hopefully, the South will be the bell-ringer for some of us in the Mid-west & those in the North too.
