The 27th annual National Night Out is Tuesday, August 3, and Crofton MD is participating this year with an event to be held at Crofton Library from 5-9 p.m. The library is located at 1681 Reidel Road; Parking will be availabe at Crofton Elementary and the Crofton Village Pool on Wellfleet, with a shuttle provided by Anne Arundel County Department of Aging.
The Crofton Regional Community Center is partnering with the Crofton Library and Anne Arundel County to sponsor the local event, scheduled for 5-9 in the library parking lot. Other sponsors include Target and Anne Arundel County law enforcement and fire protection agencies.
Community Center volunteers will available at the Crofton Library to answer your questions about their plans and progress, and a host of other activities will take place:
- Bike registration and a bike rodeo
- Demonstration by the Sheriff's K-9 Unit
- Demonstration by the Citizen Emergency Response Team
- Skateboard presentation
- Demonstrations of Police and Fire Equipment
The goal of National Night Out is to bring together people throughout the greater Crofton area to stand together and partner with anti-crime programs in our community.
