Times Square Dueling Piano BarTimes Square Dueling Piano BarIf you haven't had the pleasure of checking out the new Times Square Dueling Piano Club, it's time to do so.  I keep hearing surprise from people who aren't aware that there was a Piano Bar in town.  There is and even more surprising (at least for this San Diego transport) is how popular it is already.

The bar is located at 2631 S. College Ave in the rock building that was previously the Wild Rock Cafe.  It features a fully stocked bar, two levels of seating and two pianos dueling it out to whatever silly and random songs you suggest.  The clientele is varied in age and 'party style' (ie - it's not a giant frat party nor your Gramma's monthly Canasta meeting) and a lot of fun.  If that wasn't enough to recommend it, Times Square also has free drinks for women on Thursday Ladies Night from 7:30-8:30pm.

If you head out there on a Thursday, say hello - I'll be with the goofy girls dancing it up to 'Ice Ice Baby'!

I LOVE dueling piano bars, Dee!  That place sounds like a lot of fun and I would certainly be stopping by if I were in the area!

Dueling piano bars are so much fun!  We used to go to the one in downtown Denver when we were a bit younger, but always had a great time!

Thanks, Lessa and Stephanie for your comments.  I had previously only been to Sing-Sing in Denver and had a great time there but I honestly didn't know if our Fort Collins laidback, brewpub social scene would support one here.  I'm so glad that I was wrong!
