THE SECOND HALF-What are you going to do this time around to make it better than the first half?

June 30th has come and gone. The first half of 2010 is over. Its done,its finished. Finito. Over with. Gone. History. I am trying to drive my point across. Like many of you INCLUDING ME,first half of 2010 didn't go well as I planned-THANK YOU BofA and some of your other bank friends.

Second half of 2010 is a great time to go back to the drawing board and revise your Real Estate Business Plan.



Besides Real Estate Business Plan is just that -A plan to get Real Estate Business. How do you plan on getting any Real Estate Business if you don't have a plan? In fact, every successful business venture in this world follows a ... plan blueprints. Some of the things that you might consider changing could be your:

  • Broker
  • Real Estate Firm
  • Networking
  • Sphere of Influence
  • Farming areas
  • Attitude.
  • Perception.
  • Accountability Partner.

I read somewhere that "Today's thinking determines tomorrow's results. Everybody is interested in self-improvement. If we want to do better in life and in our business,we must plan and prepare better. Your blueprint for the second half is your roadmap for getting the job done just exactly as you want it to be done. You want to live your best life now? Make the change now. Clarity of direction is a major key to success in all that you do. You have to define what you want in precise terms and reinforce this affirmatively. I am preaching to the choir when I say that.

The past should be just that-THE PAST. You can't re-live the past. So what you some closings fell apart. Or you lose a client to a competitor or your clients fell off the face of the earth. That's done with. You can only control what you can control. But you can better prepare yourself for today to improve your chances of closing more deals,have a better plan with following up with leads(potential clients) or converting more customers to closings.

Live more in the present tense. Your power is in the present tense always. It's up to you to make up your mind that if I mind to see the results that I really want to see,I have to make some major changes. Your choices predetermine your attitude,your aptitude and your altitude. Your conviction makes all the difference. If you lay some serious demands upon yourself,such as being successful no matter what the market,you will be. It's a matter of being determined to win no matter what the situation might be.

Make the best of the last five months. It is filled with endless opportunities. But it is up to you to make the best of it. You have to always say to yourself that I am a "Real Estate Sales Machine". Make the decision this moment that you truly deserve success and that you are well-prepared to achieve it. A winning attitude is always based on faith in ones' potentially.  If you can vision it and truly believe it in your heart,you can achieve it.                          

Like I always use to say in some of my blogs the beginning of this year and still believe in my heart that this is going to happen "2010 IS GOING TO BE YOUR BEST YEAR EVER-CLAIM IT"

Lanre....Assessing where we are at the middle of our year is a good and necessary thing to do.  If we need to make adjustments we can, it our original plan (plan A) isn't working, we can get on with plan B - assuming we were thorough enough to have a plan B.

Lanre - I'm with you on this one. I go through an assessment & goal setting process every 90 days and it just so happens that today is the beginning of my 90 day cycle. Best of luck to you.
