There is power in numbers.........this thought has been around for a long time. It was a theme in the American Revolution, the Civil Right Movement, and many more. When the cause is right and the numbers are big, the force of righteousness is strong.
I have been surprised very much by the positive results of an effort I started two years ago. I got together with two financial planners, an architect, an HR outsourcing company, an attorney, and a few others to form a collective of professionals. We market ourselves to local medical professionals as a one-stop shop of professional services. Of course, I am the real estate broker for commercial and residential needs in the group.
It has paid off big time. We recruited two medical professionals in the business to become a part of our advisory board....and they have introduced me to several other medical professionals. Wow!!!
If I had tried to market myself individually to these same medical professionals, I would have met a stone wall. People like personal, face-to-face introductions for services. The credibility factor for me goes way up!
I would encourage you to consider forming an advisory board of your own in your location. It has paid off for me in big ways. Start looking at your church, your clubs, and more....
