Bev will be bringing her gorgeous mixed bouquets, large and small, which feature a stunning collection of just-picked flowers. Other highlights will be zinnias, lisianthus, and sunflowers.
North Star Orchard
North Star Orchard will bring a couple varieties of plums and apples, heirloom tomatoes, sweet & hot peppers, garlic, potatoes, beans, Swiss chard, onions, and whatever else is ripe and ready. North Star Orchard accepts cash, checks and FMNP.
Shellbark Hollow Farm
Donna of Shellbark Hollow returns to the market this week and will bring Chevre, Sharp 1 Chevre, and "Best of Philly" Sharp 2 Chevre, 10 Chevre spreads including the new spread "The Sassy Bee", 4 Marinated Chevre Biscuits in Olive Oil, Chevre Biscuit, Tomato Nest Biscuits, Honey Biscuits, Crottin de Chevre, Ricotta, Yogurt and Kefir. She will also be bringing our Spotted Goat which is a grated goat cheese which is good for salads, pizza, and cooking. Her raw milk aged Tomme is ready and she'll have it at the market this week.
Blueberry Hill Farm
This week Peggy of Blueberry Hill Farm will bring white and red potatoes, fingerling potatoes, cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, regular and oriental eggplant, peppers, red beets, green beans, and onions. Peggy will also have lots of herbs: parsley, rosemary, and basil. And fruit: seedless watermelon, yellow watermelon, cantaloupe, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!
Lime Valley Mill Farm
This week Allyson, Danni and Lauryn will have Sweet Corn, Tomatoes including Sungolds and Mixed Cherry Pints, Arugula, Swiss Chard, Beets, Carrots, Cucumbers and Pickling Cucumbers, Red Skin and White Potatoes, Assortment of Summer Squash, Hot Peppers including Jalapeño and Mariachi, Tomatillos, Melons, Garlic and Fresh Cut Herbs (mint, parsley, oregano, sage, winter savory, chives and lavender). Also 1/4lb bags of basil for $6.00. Great for Pesto making. Plus a few surprises!
In addition to the produce, LVM will have some beef items including Liver, Stir Fry Strips, Beef Cubes, Top Round, Chuck Eye and Delmonico Steaks, Ground Beef and Beef Patties. Lime Valley Mill accepts cash, checks and FMNP vouchers.
Lindenhof Farm
We will be bringing Lots of fresh chicken, whole and lots of chicken boneless/skinless as well as chicken pies. We will also have lots of eggs, fresh turkey including ground and drumsticks, wings and split breasts. Beef products include steaks for the grill, patties, sausages and mild jerky. Pork: boneless pork chops, ham steaks, and a nice selection of sausages such as Italian, fresh, kielbasa, loose and maple. Lamb: more chops, ground and other items too. Lindenhof accepts cash, checks, and charge cards.
Spotted Hill Farm Soaps and Body Products
Spotted Hill Farm returns to Oakmont Farmers Market this week with a selection of soaps and body products made from all-natural goat milk, olive oil, and other non-toxic ingredients. And they smell good too!
Fruitwood Orchards Honey Farm
Fruitwood Orchards will be bringing lots of fruits: peaches, blackberries, plums, and nectarines. And vegetables: sweet corn, bell and cabanel peppers, yellow squash and green zucchini, eggplant, onions, green beans, and tomatoes. They will also have honey, bee pollen, and molasses. Fruitwood accepts cash, FMNP and WIC.
