Ever have that client that just complains about everything and you dread to have to make that phone call? Take a deep breath, look in the mirror and smile...BIG :), say to yourself, "I am a happy person and I will spread that happiness to those around me just by my positive attitude", then go and make that call. Keep the mirror close by, just in case you need to remind yourself that a smile is contagious.

Who knows, maybe we can even change their day with an upbeat attitude!

I really got some funny visuals while reading this post. Its really great advise, and quite effective to roll play in front of a mirror. Your smile and positive attitude does transmit over the phone, it's a proven fact.
I'm chucking- that bit of self talk and smile you described might get me picked up by those men in white coats... if practiced in public... lol.
