For all of the people who have been using embeddable YouTube codes on their website or blog, they may have wondered when they will be able to have video players similar to the new, modernized ones that are now prolific throughout all of YouTube. Well, as of a few days ago, YouTube made an announcement that embed codes will now start to provide this new player on your websites and blogs. The new embeddable code will look like the following:

<iframe type="”text" /><strong>VIDEO_ID</strong>” frameborder=”0″>
</iframe>

Here's a quick example of what this new embeddable code will make videos look like on your own website or blog:

The one thing that is interesting to see (warning: technical mumbo-jumbo coming up…) is that YouTube is veering away from the tag for embeddable codes and moving its way to <iframe> tags. This is to accommodate for the HTML5 environments as the standard becomes more widespread.

In other words, it means using this new embeddable code will make sure the videos you post on your website or blog through YouTube will be visible as the web evolves. It’s a good thing :) .

So, if you go to embed a video from YouTube and see that the code looks very different, now you know what it’s all about! Personally, I like the new YouTube player, so it’ll be great to start seeing widespread use of it on websites and blogs!

@Michael: Actually, there weren't supposed to be any images posted on this page.  The goal was just to show you what the new code looks like for embedding videos.

After reading your request, I thought it would be a good idea to actually embed a video to show you what it looks like.  Hope it helps!
