Are there any good real estate books that you recommend reading? Since the market is the way it is right now, I am looking to read recommended real estate books that I could possibly benefit from either now or in the future. I am still kind of new to real estate, so I am devoting my late night readings to real estate industry. If you have any suggestions please feel free to comment as they are greatly appreciated. Thanks Nicole.

Nicole, congratulations on wanting to take the time to improve yourself!  Tom Hopkins writes great real estate books, I would also suggest Zig Zigler, not just for real estate, but sales knowledge.  These are a few of the oldies but goodies, but great starting points.  Lots of new books, but I recommend starting from the oldest and then progressing to the newer...  Good luck!

So many seem to just rehash the same info!  Good luck finding a good one.

Try "1st Year In Real Estate," I thought I got a lot of information out of it. I should have read it before I started working. Also, I read Inman news, and while I have not read it "Diary of a Real Estate Rookie" sounds like a read too. "Millionaire Real Estate Agent" gives good tips on how to get there. Try Amazon..com and you will find an abundance of books that sound interesting.

This isn't really a book about real estate tips, but it is a fantastic inspirational biography of a very successful realtor who overcame a lot of odds in getting started - It's called "If you don't have big breasts, put ribbons in your pigtails", By Barbara Corcoran. It's well written, based on lessons from her mom and how they apply to real estate. It's very funny, and will get you motivated no matter what the market is doing. I highly recommend it!

Oh, and I also just ordered "Diary of a Real Estate Rookie: My Year of Flipping, Selling, and Rebuilding and What I Learned (The Hard Way) - I can't remember the author but I read an article by the author and liked her writing so much I looked her up on Amazon. I will let you know how it when I'm done.

Nicole- I'm reading Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller. I'm about half way through and I would recommend reading it.
