This past weekend my middle daughter had her first soccer tournament with her new Competitive Team, California Odyssey. We were in a very tough pool with 2 teams who are top in the State. We did well, could have done better, but had a great experience overall. The tournament was held on the campus of UC Santa Cruz. While waiting for the game on Sunday, we saw 2 deer roaming the campus near the basketball courts. We scrambled to get in a few pics.

On Saturday between games, we hung out at the beach in Capitola. The girls and I were playing around on some rocks doing silly photo shoots when a seagull decided to check us crazy girls out.

Deborah-Thanks, we were really just playing around with the camera, I really don't have any photo skills, I play with a few buttons and shoot.

Jane-The seagull was really funny, the girls and I were laughing, he really thought we were crazy, I could see it. The deer was cool, I was very close to it, there were two of them. I wish I got better lighting. We had a good time though, that's the main thing. Thanks for stopping by!!!

Karen-Thanks. We don't see deer where we live, so it's a treat if we travel and see them. It was very unexpected and in the middle of the day, almost noon.
