Is Aerial Photography a Great Marketing Tool in your Market?

Do you use Aerial Photos in your marketing.   In our Smith Mountain Lake area, we find that what many call the backyard is our front yard or lakeside as we call it.   There are so many different angles of photos that you need, sometimes the best way to capture a lake home is by using aerial photography.

At Smith Mountain Lake, we have enjoyed a new company, Infocus,  that offers Aerial Photography by using a Balloon Camera.  By using this balloon camera, they are able to position slightly above the home or property that you are trying to capture.  Previously I used photographers that had plans or helicopters.   The cost of those was slightly higher but also the photos were so distant you could get the degree of details that you receive from this new Balloon Camera Photography.

Hi Glenda and Steven~  I can see where it could be a great marketing tool.  No one uses it in this area.  Even pole photography could be good to use!

Very cool.  Guess I can't do that with my instamatic and a store bought ballon :-)

Yup... PARTICULARLY if the property is waterfront, for sure aerial photography will be used. And, to me, they are always STUNNING --- they just aren't "regular" photos and really make people stop and look.
