There have been a lot of blogs posted here on Active Rain lately about good business books to read.
I would like to make a suggestion to new Agents and Brokers to read the E-Myth by Michael E. Gerber.
This book explains why entrepreneurs fail in the first few years of opening their business. It tells you what you need to do to make your business like a Franchise. How systems can make your business run. How your business should be set up so that wherever you are, it is still running. A great read.
After you have read the E-Myth, go on to the E-Myth Manager 
and then go on to read the E-Myth Mastery
There is now a new one out called E-Myth Revisited, which I also have but have not finished reading, so I cannot give a synopsis of it.
There are several others, which probably will not apply to an Active Rain member, like E-Myth Physician. However, even if you only read the First E Myth book, it will change how you perceive your business.
