Cherry harvest, Model T's crawling all over the valley, Kalispell by-pass progress.

Bigfork will be very busy this weekend. Cherry harvest is in full swing around Flathead Lake.Get them before it is too late! The fun - shut down the streets - art festival is happening in Bigfork this weekend. Park outside town and take a shuttle. Weather should be ideal.

Model T's have been seen all over the valley from as far away as New Zeland.

Kalispell by-pass is making great progress. First section anticipated to be completed by October.

Weather has been great this week after a stormy and rainy weekend. Thunder storms with rain are keeping everything green.

Montana Cup sailboat race took place last weekend. Bet it was challenging with shifting winds and storms. The wind on the lake is always interesting with storms coming up suddenly.

We took a drive up the North Fork Rd. last Saturday, stopping at the Polebridge Mercantile noted for awesome bread and pastries. Suffering through the first 4 miles of gravel washboard road. We made it north as far as 6 miles from the Canadian border then headed back. Taking the Camas road and going through Apgar in Glacier National Park to by-pass that nasty stretch of gravel. Most of the N. Fork is gravel but not bad, just the first stretch. Beautiful views of the river, crossing over many creeks, Glacier Peaks to the east.
