Local Gold Canyon and Apache Junction Arizona food banks are in need of donations. Not as many people think of making food donations in the summer as they do at Thanksgiving, Christmas and the holidays. But the reality is that people who are in need of food need help year round, not just the holidays. A recent push by the local chamber of Commerces helped bring in some needed supplies, but the food banks are still in need of support.
