YEA!!! I wanted to be sure everyone knew the Government is doing something to repay our Soldiers/Heros. If someone is serving their country and is relocated to another state then needs to relocate again............HAP is there.
This program is the Governments version of a short sale for Military. When you bought your home, and put a down payment on it, and now it is worth less the HAP program will pick up the difference including giving you all your downpayment back minus 5%. Does it get any better than that. It's about time......
Spread the word to all Military persons. Also their is the "wounded Soldier" program with-in HAP. There is a financial cap on the amount they pay, that is not so under the "wounded Soldier" program. The program takes approx. 45 days and can make a huge difference for the seller. Also there is a Military buy-back program, but not as great a deal in most cases.
