Pell City Animal Hospital, Logan Martin Lake Sales.comI started calling Pell City, AL my home in 1993, after moving here from Maryland. Prior to the move, my son lost his German Sheppard to Cancer. My promise to my eight year old was when we got settled in our new home; he could get another pet. True to my promise, when we got settled, off the animal shelter we went looking for a new puppy. I was in need of a Veterinarian to check the puppy out. After asking around, on a recommendation, we meet with Dr. Jim Farmer at the Pell City Animal Hospital. Our newest family member was shown excellent care and compassion. When she was sick, all we had to do was to call Lynda, and she would work Coco in to see the Doctor. Under his care and supervision, she lived a long life and grew up with my son.

Coco, Logan Martin Lake SalesCoco received the best of care from Dr. Farmer for the 16 years we had her. He was there in the beginning and also at the end. That meant a lot to my son. If you need a Veterinarian, and want one who loves animals then call Pell City Animal Hospital and ask for Dr. Farmer.

Diane, We have a wonderful Veterinarian also.  We lost our chocolate lab a year ago January and she was so supportive.  We quickly had a new friend and she was there to check him out.  He just went in this last Friday and got a clean bill of health.

Diane,  I have a great vet that I rely on.  We trust them with these little creatures that are part of our family.  They have to be wonderful!

I see it from the other side.  My wife is a competent and compassionate veterinarian.  It is difficult to deal with owners who don't take proper care of their pets and it weighs heavily on her when she has to put a family friend to sleep   It's the owners who are sincere in their love for their pet, care for them properly and do what is necessary to minimize the pet's suffering when disease strikes that provide her greatest sense of fullfillment.

Marchael, It hurts when you loose a pet who has been in your family a long time. It does give you piece of mind knowing you have done all you could do to help them.   We have a great veterinarian here who is well trusted. Glad to hear your new little friend is doing well.

Elyse, Having a good vet is as important as  having a good family Doctor.  It means a lot.. Thanks for stopping by.

A good vet is worth his/her weight in gold.  We have been with the same practice for over 20 years (and six cats).  I can't imagine going anywhere else.
