Buyers and Sellers-Take it Easy, all the E's can't take you anywhere
In a real estate transaction, a buyer and a seller takes an opposite role, everyone knows about that, no need for explanation. But they both also share many things in common, no matter they agree it or not. And lots of times it is human nature is trying to take its course:
- Ego - There are times that a buyer and a seller can't come to an agreement of a negotiation is because each party wants to see who gets the last word. It is human nature to compete to be the winner in any time of the day. A real estate negotiation is about doing the best to make it happen. Making it extra difficult to work with is not going to take you anywhere.
- Emotion - Selling and Buying can stir up lots of emotion between everyone, but it can also blind us to see the real big picture in the transaction. Sellers, the day you decided to put the house on the market for sale, it is strictly for business, the house is open for public to view and evaluate if your house is the best choice for them and their family. It is nothing personal if they don't pick yours as their future home, it is probably just because it doesn't work for them and their family. Buyers, don't get attached to any house before you know your offer is accepted. There are many choices out there, but if you are serious of one particular house, follow your agent's advice to put a reasonable offer to get it started, that will reduce your chance of being rejected. Keep an open mind and be flexible. One door closes could mean another door opens just for you.

- Easy does it - Just take it easy. Relax, frustration is only going to make things worse.
