Gulf Shores today: The Coast is clear

Gulf Shores Public

Hot sand. Cool, clear water and sparse crowds at the Gulf Shores Public Beach this morning. After much searching finally found a dreaded tarball -- a rust-colored rock bout the size of a quarter that crumbled under pressure with a very faint residue that easily washed off. This is not to be feared.  Take advantage of the low traffic, vacancies and discounts.

It is great to hear that the coast has survived so far.  With the efforts to clean the waters I hope things will further look up your way
