How To Survive An Outdoor Music Festival

Have you noticed there seems to be more and more outdoor music festivals?
And why not? What is better than the great outdoors, great music and a festival atmosphere all rolled into one great event? We have heard about these music festivals scheduled in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, in Markham, Ontario, Canada, in Gettsburg, PA, in Goshen CT and we are sure many, many other locales.

Are you planning to attend one of the many outdoor festivals this summer?
If you are you may want to watch this little video on to survive an outdoor music festival for some added tips, but one thing we all know and that is how to sing & dance along and have fun!

Oh boy, great advice for those attending. I was laughing, my girls went to Woodstock for the 30th anniversary. They lost the car, got sick from the sun, I had to drive up in the middle of the night to get them. What a fiasco. They should have watched this, LOL.

Hi Al and Peggy - On the weekend of August 20 to 22, 2010, there are actually TWO different jazz festivals TWO miles apart.  One on Main Street Unionville and the other on Main Street Markham.  Your link to the Markham jazz festival is the one occurring on Main Street Unionville.  Interestingly, the one on Main Street Markham is also occurring in other parts of Markham including a different portion of Main Street Unionville.

How is that for confusion???

SPF 400? LOL. I can heartily vouch for taking more cash than you think you'll need. It's kind of like remodeling your home: Devise a budget and then double it!

Since I'm a pianist, I haven't been to many outdoor music festivals. However, I did get to see the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl many years ago. Probably the highlight of my concert-going experience.
