Asheville Relocation- Second and Vacation Homes in Context

Once you have experienced Asheville, you will understand what makes this "Paris of the South" right here in the mountains of Western North Carolina rank among the favorite second and vacation home spots in the USA.

If you visit Asheville’s Chamber of Commerce, you will get the official word:

Come for the abundant natural beauty, friendly atmosphere, wealth of year-round outdoor activities, rich history, and lively local arts and music scene. Stay for the diverse economy, entrepreneurial opportunities, mild climate and high quality of life. Build your business, or live and work in Asheville – one of the Southeast’s most livable cities.”

But we would like to add a few quick reasons that make Asheville a great choice for second and vacation home buyers:

The people are amazing, full of life, and open  to creative ideas and quality of lifestyle, and we are blessed with an abundance of locally-grown and harvested food you can bring home from one of many tailgate markets or find at any number of restaurants here in Asheville.

Asheville is touted a top choice for second and retirement homes.

In fact, Asheville NC has been selected by AARP Magazine  as a Top 15 Dream Town. As the magazine reports -- Asheville, North Carolina enjoys, “… a lively arts scene, short winters, excellent health care and a dash of bohemian funkiness; the downtown has coffeehouses, antiques shops, bookstores and galleries selling crafts by mountain artists. In a town with deep musical roots, you'll catch bluegrass one night and contra dancing the next. The Blue Ridge Parkway offers a quick escape to mountain hiking, fishing and whitewater rafting.

We think Asheville offers a little bit of something for everyone!

As second and vacation homes specialists you must get a lot of good questions about Asheville and the real estate  market.

Hi Corey,

Yes we do, as I would expect you do as well being affiliated with Creston. This is a great area and we have been in the vacation rental business for over 13 years.
