Tell Me You Didn't!

Sometimes we forget that one of the cheapest and most productive marketing tools we have is our business card.  That little 2x3 slab of recycled paper is packed with a powerful punch- when we use our imagination.  So here's my question for the day: Where is the strangest place you've left your card?

They say confession is good for the soul:

You might one day be standing at the King Soopers  gas pump on Stetson and Powers and  sure enough my mug is probably staring back at you tucked somewhere in a crack or crevice of the keypad.

On a return flight to Colorado Springs you may open the Skymall magazine only to find my smiling face staring back at you in hopes you are a corporate relo.

So where has your business card been and what is your strangest success story from leaving a card?

Lorraine, good idea!  I have purchased extra copies of a real estate magazine and put a few of my cards inside and a "Compliments of Laxson Realty" gold sticker on the front and delivered them to the local businesses that have waiting rooms. Not only have I had business calls, but also thank you's for making their wait more enjoyable!   ~ Susan

Susan:  Great idea and you get it! One never knows who is going to pick up that card and contact you.

Tanya: Placing your card in creative places is just one more avenue for prospecting that shouldn't be overlooked.
