If you were purchasing a home in Camarillo, Oxnard, or Ventura, California...what would be the single most "must have"?

For me it would be the updated kitchen....then, pocketbook willing, I'd have a killer ocean view!

I wonder if buyer wants will change as the economy causes everyone to re-evaluate their priorities and finances.  It will be interesting to see the same data a year later.

There's been a lot of articles to that very extent and yes, Americans seem to be getting the fact that "less is more".  That being said, you can still have granite counter tops, nice appliances, a master bath tub that is oval and roomy, making your house a home.
