Williamson County TN Home Sales for July 2010

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty TN R.E. License 292369

 Williamson County TN includes
Franklin, Brentwood, Nolensville, Spring Hill, and Fairview

the data below represents July 2010 Home Sales

There was an 8% drop in sales for July 2010 as opposed to July 2009 but the median sales price had a 14% increase.  What does this mean for Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nolensville and Fairview home sales?  Your house may be on the market a bit longer than expected, but if it is well prepared and competitive you may be getting closer to the price you hoped for.

While there was an expected dip in total sales due to the expiration of Home Buyers Tax Credits there are still signs that are encouraging.  The Interest rates continue to be low and people are still looking to move to Middle Tennessee from out of state and even across the state.

The data below was complied and distributed by the Williamson County Association of Realtors®

Mike - Good stats, and even houygh sales are down a little, the prices are now holding a lot better. I predict a monster 2011.

Although Williamson County includes all of the towns that you have listed, I think that it is really a tale of two counties. I hope that the previous commentator is correct about 2011: I remain a skeptic (although a hopeful one) about the next year.

Hmmm, Julie, a Tale of Two Counties, you have to explain the next time I see you, and I hope you are correct too Larry, and I optimistically agree.
