My kids have made fun of me for over 20 years at my "self-help" collection, my real estate library and my financing compilation. It is my own University of Life! For many of my childrens' younger years I settled in with the works of Danielle Steele, Jude Devereaux, Nora Roberts, LaVyrle Spencer and Sandra Brown to name a few. So, Mom taking on a new career and new literary friends brought about great debate as to if I was "sane".
Zig Ziglar, Norman Vincent Peale, Earl Nightingale, Dale Carnegie, Anthony Robbins, Mike Ferry, Gary Keller, Brian Tracy, Jeffrey Gitomer are a few of my favorites.
From my University of Life I have offered many friends and family members support and optimism in what appeared to be the lowest times of their life, or help in finding the solution to funding a project, sometimes it was a relationship situation and one of my books offered them the chance to see another perspective.
