Every once in a while you will see a post that burns itself in your memory. If I could remember who posted it, I would link the post. In their area, they found a farmer selling vegetables on the side of the road with an honor system for anyone wishing to purchase while he was not there. When I read the post, I could not imagine anyone having that much trust in the people of their area.
It is very important to me to try to support our local farmers. I stopped at this great little farmers market, and I gathered what I needed, when I was paying for it, I saw that this farmer also had an honor system. The farmer told me he never had a problem with anyone not paying for their vegetables. Now how cool is that!
It goes to show you what good, honest and hard working people that live in St. Clair, Alabama.
