It is Sizzlin Hot in West Memphis and Marion Ar. We are located about 10 minutes from Downtown Memphis TN. I don't just mean the temperature which was a SIZZLIN 104 Friday. It's been over a 100 degrees for most of the past month with No Relief in site!!
However not only is the weather SIZZLIN HOT but so are the Real Estate Deals. I bet that is true not only in West Memphis and Marion but anywhere in the Country. Think about the following for just a few minutes and I bet you will have a change of attitude about the Market!
- According the NAR Homes are the most affordable in my lifetime. I am still Young at Heart!
- Interest Rates on 15 year loans are less then 4%. You've got to be kidding!! We should be taking advantage of the today's market. Not just us as professionals but our clients.
- With what we hope will be the last wave of Foreclosures prices will not stay down and we know what will happen to rates.
I was talking with clients this morning who would like to sell home about at 2006 prices and purchase at 2010 Prices. Well guess what? That's not going to happen. But here's what they should do.
- Put their home up for sale at today's price. Find a Buyer and Sell their home at it's current value
- Then go out and find the best deal they can find and take advantage of today's Rates
Then in 5-7 years they can sell and build their Dream Home with the Money they will make from their current invest.
