Target Closing Garden Centers By End of September Nationwide

Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Florida Network Realty BK 3030920

Target has plans to close ALL of their in-store garden centers by the end of September.

Most of the stores are located in Florida, California, Arizona and Nevada.

The garden centers will have normal stock throughout the summer, but will reduce to lawn and patio products thereafter, and discontinue selling live plants.

There could be some fabulous plant deals between and the end of September, so keep your eyes open!

A Great Real Estate Experience

That is interesting since we never got garden centers in the Virginia area. I guess they were testing the market--and must have found it lacking. Should be  great opportunity for some deals!

Well, I WILL go down to my Target and look for those deals, mainly because I have a green thumb and can bring any of their dead plants back to life.  Yes, I said dead.  Most of those garden centers have the inability to figure out how to get the water out of the hose and onto the plants.   lol  So, I guess I am not so sad.  They can perhaps bring in more hardscape product lines.
