Actually I am not going to tell you who I think you should vote for. Except to say that in general I am for candidates that support smaller government, less regulations and laws, lower taxes, and more individual freedom. I base my votes more on their past experience, their resume', and their observed character, not just on the political blab that they give on the campaign trail.
There are many Central Florida political races up for grabs during this election cycle including all federal and state house members, a federal senate seat, the Florida governor's office, all Florida cabinet positions, the Orange County mayor's office, lots of county and city commissioners, school board members, and judges.
In case you are not sure who to vote for and why, here is a list of endorsements by various Florida newspapers and business groups that will hopefully help you with your decision.
Early voting is going on right now with election day being Tuesday, August 24. Remember that many of the lower profile elections often get decided in the primaries.
