Diets Don't Work!

Raw Chef Andi from the Folsom, California area shared her beliefs about diets on my BlogTalkRadio show!

Chef Andi Griffith has written "The Fruits and Green Diet"  All the foods she promotes and recipes are for RAW foods.

There is a 10 step program in her book to to evolve into "raw" eating.

Listen to internet radio with Cosmic Cow Pie on Blog Talk Radio

First step.. give something then take something away.

1.  Add (give) fresh fruit as your breakfast!  Do this daily!

Take away.. ANY fast food.. not even salads.. they wash lettuce with bleach and add chemicals.

                                              The Fruits and Greens Diet

Raw Chef Andi says "this is no ordinary diet."

  •  It's a 10 step program to help you get from where you are to dietary health."
  •  Are you looking to improve your eating habits? Want to lose the extra weight?
  •  Ready to take control of your food instead of food controlling you?

Then you're ready for the Fruits and Greens Diet. Raw Chef Andi has written a program designed to help those who have been struggling with their weight and are concerned about their health.

This is a way of eating anyone can follow! By focusing more on fresh fruits and vegetables and avoiding the health destroying processed foods you are able to help your body get to and maintain your optimal weight. This is the way Nature intended you to eat. It wasn't invented in a laboratory. It's not filled with chemicals and preservatives. It's not weird or unrecognizable. It's real food.

Today is the e-book launch and there are many special bonus gifts like incredible recipes: Zucchini Spaghetti with RAWGU sauce, German Chocolate Pie and more!

The book is available from Amazon value priced at $12.95.

I have really been trying to get focused on SOME SORT of DIET, but food keepsd getting in my way.  I'm not sure about eating just fruits and vegetables.  I know it is healthy, but I need a steak once in a while.  lol

I have read up on this quite a bit, Carra.  I DON'T do it but I do incorporate TONS of fresh veggies and fruits in my diet that are raw.  I TOTALLY stopped eating ANYTHING that comes in a box or a can.  I just thought to myself the other day while I was in the grocery store that there are several aisles I haven't been down in years!

Bill, It would be a hard transition for me.. but I agree with Leesa.. incorporating the greens and fresh into the diet is a good thing!  I eat chicken and fish.. not so much red meat anymore.. seems like it is almost tasteless... might just be me.

Leesa ~  You are a great motivator.. I am going to think of you now and try to not eat things out of a box.. I don't eat too much out of a can.. so that should be easy to stop!  Canned tomatoes.. mmmm now that might be hard as I cook with them a lot!  Will be thinking of you Leesa :)

Carra,

Raw food diet has been the rage in Southern California.  A friend of ours was telling us about a doctor he interviewed who lost 200 pounds on the raw diet and got rid of his diabetes and high blood pressure.  And the raves about it continue...

I eat whatever I want, but only after drinking a large glass of water. That way I don't overeat because I'm already half full. Then, I start the next day by going for a walk with my handy dandy Canon 550D.

Call Russel Ray for all your marketing, business, and photography needs.

Hi Carra - I love fruits and veggies and incorporate them in my meals daily.  It's the other stuff that gets in my way; cheesecake, popcorn, the list goes on.  I walk on my treadmill for 20 minutes at least 5 days a week to try to help with the effects of the forementioned cheesecake, popcorn, etc. ;D

Pop corn is a vegetable :0)   Personally, I have to stay away from fruit - it is my downfall and is pure sugar.  I've just gone thru a spell of eating fresh blueberries - like popcorn.   Yes, I know they're one of the best foods for us but if I am going to binge on anything, it would be fruit!  I would eat a pint of blueberries INSTEAD of dinner.  When I need to slim, I stay clear of fruit and eat veggies instead.

Fruits and vegetables should make up the bulk of our diets--I'm trying to include more of each in my daily eating plan.
