Months Supply of Real Estate: Blaine MN Real Estate & Housing Update

This statistics is an indicator of supply and demand.  It is determined by using the current number of homes for sale on the market and the number of days it takes to sell a home (known as Days On Market or DOM) and figuring out how many months it would take to completely sell off all of the current inventory (assuming no more listings come to market).

These numbers indicate that we are shifting back towards a more balanced market and we are no longer in a very strong buyer market.  The buyers still have a bit of an advantage, but it is dwindling as the inventory of homes for sale is sold off.
