The pre-1916 Motorcycle Cannonball coast-to-coast Endurance Run departs the OBX on Friday, September 10th from Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, NC. See scores of motorcycles from the early 1900's through 1915 on display from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. before the competitors take off for a 16 day race across America! The Motorcycle Cannonball, named after the famed Erwin "Cannonball" Baker, who set 143 driving records from 1910 through the 1930's, dares contestants to live up to the endurance records set by early motorcycle pioneers.
