Wordless Wednesday...Now why'd they have to go and do that?

My neighborhood is a quiet one...I live at the back of the neighborhood on a circle that rarely gets any traffic...So why did I have these little buggers in my driveway today?

If you want to smoke, that's your prerogative...I have no problem with it...

If you drive and flick your butts out at the car behind you, it's a a tad bit annoying...

If you dump your butts all on my driveway, it's downright WRONG!

Now why can't people keep a container in their car OR here's a novel idea...use the ashtray and dump it in the trash every once in a while!  If I offended you, I apologize, but it's just plain RUDE!

I would like to tell you what a lovely picture that is... but it is just plain YUCKY.  It appears there are some piggies in the neighborhood.  Funny... pigs who smoke.

Chanda - You've hit on one of my "pet peeves."  The habit is especially disgusting when they do it in shopping center or retailer parking lots (or on someone's driveway).  Some seem to believe the world is their trash can.  i

Some folks just don't get it, now do they.  What used to annoy me was at my old office we had a telephone solicitors company upstairs - and you know they hire tons of people - all week long.  Every week we would see all the 'new employees' smoking at our front entrance to our gorgeous building. Of coure they weren't suppsed to be there - but the company owner really didn't care cause he knew these folks would be gone in a week or twol

It was YUCKY as Karen Anne said both walking through the smoke to get into the courtyard - and seeing their left behind butts.  It did get better after the whole complex complained - but it took quite awhile for it to shift.  I felt like we had a high school outside our professional building.

Needless to say - I am in my new office now.  And no more issues with smokers!

Two separate smokers.  Two different brands.  One smokes considerably more than the other.  Dumped butts on another person's driveway is beyond rude.

Hi Chanda ~ It blows my mind how many cigarette butts I get on my lawn and driveway.  I *think* the rain washes many of them from my neighbor's. Otherwise it means they're pitching them into my yard which really makes me crazy.

This is plain disgusting, and seems to be the norm for smokers.  You don't generally see people walking to trash cans to dump their butts.  You do see them drop them and put them out with their heels.  Hence the litter.

Chanda, Great post!  I too think that it is extremely rude to do things like that to people.  I know that people have the right to smoke, but clean up after yourself, and please respect my right NOT to smoke!

Just once, I'd like to take a huge trash bag full of these things and dump them all in the person's car or home that takes it upon themselves to go the lazy route and just throw them wherever.  I wonder how many butts the average litterbug throws everywhere (but the trash can) over their lifetime...OK, I'll shut up now because I'm sure I hit a nerve.  Just sayin'....have some respect...
