Website Neighborhood Pages- New Orleans Warehouse District

By
Real Estate Agent with Gardner Realtors, Licensed in La.

Having neighborhood pages on your website can give you a prrsonality much like a blog. You can feature things that many people miss. Doing business in an urban and historic city like New Orleans give those who like history and cameras a chance to express themselves. A photo with a brief description can say a lot about the lifestyle of an area. Pictured below is the Italian Plaza in downtown New Orleans. Most people do not know its here. Ihave done several pages to give people ideas of the area. This is the New Orleans Warehouse District link to my neighborhood page. Take a look. Being a little different never hurts. it has more info than most agents put on their entire website.

Irina, it is things most agents will not do. It has gotten to be a hobby now as well. If the weather cools down I will ride my bike thru the areas and get more photos and of course ideas. I told you I was born in Pasadena and lived in downtown LA until we moved to Montery Park. The house cost my dad $9500 and his monthly note was under $50 and he wondered how he would ever pay such a high note.

I've had several agents buy websites for the community of their choice--most of them failed....1) because they failed to put content on it (and relied on the default content--read my 4 part blog I posted today about this)  and they failed to market it....

Now if you put content on it and market it--it can and will work!  Another idea is to make a page on your website FOR a specific area or community, then link a domain (www.lakeshores.com) to that specific page on your site. Then MARKET IT.

They can be very successful and beneficial--if you do it right!

There is a whole lot more to this, again if you read my 4 part blog, it should help you with any website
