This week, I received a personal call and an email from HGVT! They are looking for first time sellers to highlight. Piece of cake...right? Not really. I took a look at all my listings and not one of them qualify as first time sellers. If married neither could own a home that they sold previously.

The name of the program is MY FIRST SALE

A few months ago, we had the REALTOR Magazine camera crew following us for two days..take a look here: Realtor Magazine's Open House Master Video is Here! First ActiveRain Open House Update!

So I ask the public...if you are considering selling your home, you are a first time seller and you would like to work with me Margaret Rome. This would be a wonderful opportunity to highlight your special property.

 

Here are some of the things that HGTV is looking for:


-High energy, enthusiastic sellers with a story to tell!

-Willing to share your personal and financial struggles during the selling process!

-Willing to be on camera for about 10 days over the course of selling!

-Interesting enough for a television audience.

-Having enough tolerance for a camera crew following you during the stress of the sale!

And you have to be a 100% sure you want to work with me. 99 and 44/100% is Not Enough...Are You 100% Sure?

If your story is chosen, we could make movie stars out of you and your home/condo/townhouse...but most important... what a great way to get your home maximum exposure and sold!

That might be fun to do for a seller.  'Not sure I'd want to do it though... It can be a very emotional time for sellers.

  this will be interesting...most first time sellers that we know...a few years ago...just added a family...bought with little or nothing down...are upside down....yicks yicks yicks !

Had two possibile clients...one was just too nervous even though she loves the show. The second one has not given me an answer. Ran an ad in my print media this week. Will be interesting to see if there is any response.
