Hendersonville NC Weekend Events for August 20th-22nd, 2010
This is the weekend I wait for all year! It is time for the Tenth Annual Southeast Energy Expo, and will be held on August 20-22, 2010 at the Asheville Ag Center on Highway 280 across from the airport.
This is an amazing event with hundreds of exhibitors, real life examples of products and how they work to save you money and be kinder to the environment. You can see a full list of the kinds of businesses that will be there.
All three days there will be workshops going on, and you can learn a lot of things that you can do now to save money, as well as a look at the bigger picture. Take a look at the full schedule of classes for all three days.
This is a large event with well over 5000 people attending every year. It is a great educational over view on what anyone can easily do to save the planet, and save money too. There is more than just solar and wind power, although you will see plenty of that as well. Learn how to put together water saving devices, lower utility bills and see real electric vehicles. There is so much to see you just have to go.
This week there are a record breaking 63 Open Houses Scheduled for August 20-22, 2010. Put on your walking shoes and get the maps out. This is going to be a good one.
