In the news: the city of Whitefish is considering pursuing a sign ordinance against an ice cream shop. The suit got thrown out of court and they just seem to want to still fight. The public has come to the support of this small and long lasting shop in town.
Tourist traffic is intense as summer winds down. Makes we locals long for Labor Day and a decrease in traffic. NOT that we don't love the tourists and want them to enjoy their stay in the valley, our normal traffic seems more normal after the summer crowds dwindle away.
