How long has it been since your heard about the iPhone?

Do you remember when the iphone was first announced.  It seemed like everywhere you turned for months every blog was about how the iphone was going to change someone's life.  Well since it's release, the press has not slowed down that much.

How is this relevant to the real estate industry.  Well a la mode, inc, a company that specializes in real estate industry applications, has announced new lead management tools built specifically for the iPhone. So, if you have one you now have a way to make it useful for your profession. If you don't have one and really really really want one you now have a great reason to buy.

"Always-on broadband, integrated Google Maps, phone, contacts, SMS messaging, and a full-fledged browser make the iPhone a compelling mobile device for realtors," said Rusty Lindquist, Vice President of Broker and Agent products for a la mode.

Just between us...be on the look out for the first generation clones of the iphone buy the end of the year that may be a better choice than the iphone itself---and for less money.

I think that I will wait until the end of the year!! Like anything else, it will either go down in price or someone else will come out with something just as good if not better. In CT they have been selling like hotcakes though!!!!

If the clones have available programs like this one, then I will wait to get one of those.  If not, I may have to break down and get the iphone.

THe i=phone already dropped drastically in price....couple hundred bucks if I remember.  ALso, for those verizon buffs, they have a simliar products rolling out from LG (which in my opinion makes some of the best phones) that will flip open with a full QWERTY board. Much easier typing. I believe it is called the LG Voyager. Check it out!
