Speechless Sunday another quiet Sunday morning hen I heard the puff, puff, puff of the gas jets elevating this colorful balloon to heights above the tree line in my back yard.

Mmmm, coffee and the Sunday paper on a beautiful morning, before I begin my day.

That's a beauty all right.  Have you ever seen them prepare for take off?  We were in Virginia at an art and craft festival and there were about 8 balloons in different stages of inflation.  It was an awesome sight! Great picture, there is just something serene about hot air balloons!

It matters to us as much as it matters to you.

Used to have the balloon on my business card Don, worked with some great folks there.  Larry, there is a nice open field the other side of the tree line they often take off and land there.  The field is becoming a park for the Battle of Franklin, there is an historic cemetery there now.  Evelyn, it is a wonderful way to begin the day, so quiet and really all you here is the puff of the gas jets.

Larry, I didn't see your name in your tag line, I had to look you up.

Mike - THese people have no idea that you live beside a park that is only used for civil war games. It doesn't surprise me at all that hot air ballonist would use it. It's vacant 99 percent of the time. Great shot, and good links also.

Mike - First morning in awhile were it was cool enough for the balloons to go up.  The noise of the jsts made my dogs crazy.  They wanted to chase something....but the something was over their heads.

Very pretty..I was running with Harrison at Crockett park and we saw one landing. It came down in the middle of a soccer game after clipping a tree.
