Who Will Be the Next ActiveRain Star?

Steve...you are absolutely right.  There's something about this site that keeps drawing me back.  I love the people here and the affirmation and encouragement I get to keep on doing what I love so much.  I know that if I ever have a question about anything...I can come here and get great input.  There's not just one star here...but a galaxy of stars.  Each person is unique and contributes something special for all of us to benefit from.

Great post, Steve. I agree with you...more than the food they're preparing, it's the "peek" into their personality that holds our attention. I really like that about Activerain bloggers. I learn a lot from people's posts, hear new ideas and tips, get reminders or validated, but as a new Activerain-drop the thing I enjoy most is the sense that I can get to know a little about someone by what they say about themselves and their lives. We may be hundreds, or thousands of miles apart but the way people share information is a strong connector.

The party will always welcome a thoughtful and intelligent mind!  Being involved is simply putting yourself out there, which to the point you made, makes it that much more relate-able!  Thanks for sharing.

Opportunity is everywhere is you put yourself on the line to take advantage of it.  It's not always important to be first or early, just be good ad make the effort.

Steve, Fun idea for sure. Might I suggest however, instead of a reality show, a comedy as real estate is the perfect comedy platform.

Steve - there are MANY stars here on AR, and the list keeps growing and folks get better and better, adn new writes join in. We lose some from time to time as well, sadly.

What a cool idea!  Good motivation for the newbies.

Steve--There is always room for on more opinion, and one more point of view on AR. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i could certainly name a few candidates, and they have gotten "hooked on AR" more than I would have imagined.

I think a Reality Show called Active Rain Pad might be good too.  Put us all together in one house and have strange contests for clients!  Could be quite entertaining.

Face it! You're a Foodie! Like the rest of your family! I was thinking the other day it would be fun if some of the original AR folks did a few blogs on some early experiences? They could call it "Remember When"

It's difficult for newcomers like me to gain visibility. It takes time and a continued effort. I write for the consumer first and hope the AR members may also find some of my posts useful.
