Home inspections important ... so are the inspectors!
Have you ever been in a real estate deal where it seems like the real estate agent and the home inspector are a little too chummy?
If you have, you know that sinking feeling you get. Like you are so far along in this deal that you feel like you can't turn back, but somthing just doesn't seem right. I mean, YOU hired the inspector, but he seems to be working more for the agent and the deal than for YOU.
Well, this is a feeling I've had before, years ago. I didn't do anything about it then, but I certainly won't let it happen to you now!
I don't push a particular inspector on anybody. I have a list of three that have done great work for clients in the past, and I will give that to you. I encourage you to ask them for references, too. And I will send you to other places to find other choices.
It's important that an inspector be YOUR choice, not mine.
